PTM Foundation is Here.

After 18 months of strategic planning and organizational development work, PTM Foundation officially launched today!

The organization is focused on building community resilience, empathy, and awareness through music, stories, art, education and connectivity. We aim to convene and organize partnerships and projects informed by community need, then mobilize Portugal. The Man’s listeners and supporters around that shared vision.

I am honored to serve as PTM Foundation Director and to have had the opportunity to partner with Portugal. The Man and the community to build this organization from the ground up over the past couple of years — and I’m super proud of everyone involved.

Celsi Celebration Fundraiser for PTM Foundation Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Well, this is a bummer. The March 21st fundraiser event for PTM Foundation with Portugal. The Man, Zia McCabe from The Dandy Warhols, Tommy Graven, the Multnomah County Democrats and others is being postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak and Oregon’s ban on public events of more than 250 people.

This party will still be happening — just not right now. Stay tuned for details on the reschedule…and wash your hands! ✊

The Need is Great: Support Communities of Indigenous Peoples with PTM Foundation

“Despite Native Americans accounting for nearly 2% (5.4 million) of the U.S. population, philanthropic funding for the population remains less than 0.5% of annual foundation grant dollars across the board. The majority of philanthropic efforts to improve people’s lives overlook the distinctive needs and issues facing Communities of Indigenous Peoples,” said PTM Foundation Director Logan Lynn. “We all need to be doing more.” ✊

The Man, Zia McCabe from The Dandy Warhols, Jillene Joseph from Native Wellness Institute, the Multnomah County Democrats, and community leaders from across the state 2 WEEKS FROM TONIGHT for the 2020 Celsi Celebration with PTM in Portland!

We will be announcing our new national grant program at #PTMFoundation at the party. Let’s do this thing together.💙
